The Laurentian University Faculty Association is giving $ 7,500 to the Laurentian Student Emergency Support Fund/Fonds d’Urgence Étudiante Laurentienne set up by the Laurentian University Staff Union and the institution’s administration. In addition, $2,500 will be donated to the Sudbury Food Bank.

“We are all profoundly concerned with the impact that this crisis is having on students, precarious workers, and many others,” said LUFA president Fabrice Colin. “This donation is intended as an expression of our solidarity with the most vulnerable in our society.”
