On Giving Tuesday, LUFA is donating $1,000 to the Student Emergency Support Fund.

“The challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic have been extremely hard for many students to overcome,” said LUFA president Fabrice Colin. “No one should suffer from hunger or cold as we approach the winter solstice, and it is essential to do what we can to assist.” 

LUFA had earlier this year donated to the emergency fund as well as the Sudbury Food Bank. 

The fund helps to cover costs for financially disadvantaged students including food, housing, Internet, and income loss due to layoff or business shutdown.
